The Grand Union opens fifth site

The Grand Union Group takes on site outside London and re-brands for a more main stream appeal from Classic Burger Bar and Cocktail Lounge.
After successfully opening four sites in London, The Grand Union – Bar & Grill has recently agreed terms for a fifth site. The location, their first outside the capital is on the Grand Union Canal between the three locks in Stoke Hammond, Buckinghamshire, around 50 miles north of London.
The venue is large and open with huge potential for alfresco dining and drinking, seating 350. Owners Adam Marshall and Adam Saword are working on designs to utilise this space for a strong food led summer trade. Due a comprehensive £500,000 refit, in partnership with Scottish and Newcastle, the new ‘Grand Union at The Three Locks’ will be opening Easter 2009.
