President of International Beverage Holdings toasts a successful four years at the helm

Barrie Jackson, President of International Beverage Holdings, is stepping down from his position after an exceptional four years at the helm. Mr Jackson, who has guided the company to considerable success during his tenure, will continue in a part-time position as Advisor to the Board.

International Beverage Holdings, a wholly owned subsidiary of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited has experienced impressive growth in recent years, led by a strong portfolio of distinctive brands for global and regional markets – including Chang Beer, Mekhong, Old Pulteney, Balblair, anCnoc, Speyburn and Hankey Bannister.

Jackson is credited with delivering many of the company’s major recent achievements, including the growth of its whisky portfolio via its wholly owned subsidiary Inver House Distillers. Jackson will remain in his full time position until the end of the year before taking up his part-time role. The role of President of International Beverage Holdings will be filled by the President of Thai Beverage, Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi.

Barrie Jackson commented: ‘I am very pleased to be handing over the business at such a successful time in its development. I am confident that our team will continue to see rapid growth as they take the business forward. I look forward to advising the Board to help it achieve its goals in the future.’
