As a customer, I enjoy a smoke-free environment. As a business person, I have concerns about anti-smoking laws hurting business. What has been everyone's experience with anti-smoking laws?

I would not visit an establishment that allowed smoking. I don't think a business would have too many customers if they did allow smoking; all of them would be dead from cancer or emfasema.

Do individuals whom smoke not deserve to enjoy themselves at an establishment?

I don't think that their right to a good time overrides my right to be healthy. After all, they can go outside to smoke, can't they?

I thought they outlawed segregation decades ago; you think we should reinstate it? You're only in an establishment for a relatively short amount of time. Can't smokers just wait until their meal/drink is over to light up? It's not like it's days without nicotine.

If patrons cannot follow the rules, then they can leave.

I agree w/Grace here; its not the bar owner that sets the rules, its law, and the law is supposed to speak for the good of the people.
