I did-the bar designs exhibition was really interesting. There were some very interesting layouts there.

I wasn't able to make it, but I heard there was a pretty good flair competition.

The BAR MENU exhibit at BAR08 had a really great exhibition; there were new recipe ideas for food, as well as suggestions on how to add or change your food menu.

It's a trade show for everything bar or pub-related.

Guest I thought it was excellent this year. Last year, most of the big brands were absent but this year they were back.

The quality of the demos were excellent, and the thought put into some of the stands was wonderful. The best one had to be the Opal Nera stand, where you were thrown onto a bed by two girls in very tight PVC, beaten a bit, and fed a shot of Opal Nera. We got a great photo of one of uor friends with lipstick marks on his cheeks, looking a little thrown around.

The Dance4Me girls walking around were very clever, too - stilts, space girls... very memorable.

All up, a cracking day where we met some wonderful new brands, and some interesting ways to present some old favourites. Hope it's as good next year!

There were some complaints last year about the location; was it better this time around?

I do enjoy this show because it really helps you get kick-started if you've been feeling low on creativity or in a rut. The networking opportunities are great, and it's just a good time.
