Easter Madness
Easter time is definitely a good time to target a variety of customers and raise those numbers and sales, through
bar food, drink, and some good nights out. As Easter is earlier this year the main thing is to get everything done
and dusted.
The competition are already getting their Easter promotions organised, with not just one but several running side by
side to cater to all their customers. As St Patrick’s day is only two days before the start of some Easter promotions,
why not do what a lot of bar and venues are doing by having a week long promotion to include food and drink? Read on
and find out what the other possibilities are...
Top Names for Top Nights
Getting top bands, singers, musicians to suit the crowd and the location of your bar is another fantastic way to
continue the crowd after Easter. As while your bar is full why not leave out flyers, promotional information,
leaflets and flyers of your up and coming events to make sure the busy crowd during Easter come back during April
and through to May.
Events that continue to attract diverse crowds can include:
- Jazz nights
- Rock/indie bands and can include local bands
- Upcoming talent nights to include a variety of music from DJ’s, dancers, MC’s, to bands and vocalists
- Comedy nights
- Involving local universities for talent/fashion shows/end of term parties and more
Easter festivities
St Patrick’s Day
- It will be Guinness galore, so make sure you are fully stocked on that draught
-
St Patrick’s day hats – if you really want to get in to the festivities, making these hats available to
buy will also help
- Have a special Irish related quiz/competition
- Any Irish influenced foods can also be a great way to get in to the festivities
- Have special offers on Irish Whisky which will also help further revenues in the bar
- Food offers such as 2 for 1, or half price meals can be encouraged from St Patrick’s Day till Easter Monday
Easter Weekend
-
Start your festivities from Thursday and have a special student Easter night by encouraging fancy dress in Easter
related costumes and giving out free mini Easter eggs.
-
On Good Friday, you need to be attracting the locals who will be ready to spend money, make sure the drink offers
are visible and you have promoted heavily beforehand.
-
On Saturday you need to encourage your regulars and make sure that what ever event you hold you don’t alienate you
usual crowd.
- The next big event should be on Easter Sunday, why not try changing the music, tempo, style or theme.
-
On Easter Monday, customers may be tired of partying, but still want to continue drinking, why not have a chilled day
time event. By having a barbeque or a buffet/banquet depending on the vibe of your venue is an ideal way to continue
to gain profits.
There you have it, an eventful March, which all bars and venues should benefit from.
